Earth Hour is a  anual movement created by the WWF and The Sydney Morning Herald ( an australian newspaper ) 10 years ago. The goal is to turn of the lights of famous buildings around the world for one hour to protect the planet. This year, there were 174 participing coutries and more than 1200 buildings turned off. By swiching off the lights for one hour, big countries reduce their pollution. It’s not very long but if they keep doing this pollution will reduce a little bit and that’s what we want.
